Barry Tomalin is an internationally recognised expert in intercultural communication skills training. A writer, trainer and broadcaster, he has worked for the Overseas Development Agency (British Council) in West Africa and for the BBC World Service in London.
He is currently Director of Cultural Training at International House in London and Visiting Lecturer in Intercultural Communication in the Diplomatic Academy of the University of Westminster. In a thirty year career, he has training experience in over 50 countries.
Barry is the co-author of a number of books and courses on language and cultural training including ‘Cultural Awareness’ and ‘Film’, both with Oxford University Press and ‘The World’s Business Cultures and How to Unlock Them’ (Thorogood Publications, London).
