- Dzeelfa Zainal Abidin’s formative years as a student were spent in Tunku Kurshiah College, Seremban where her love for the stage started and was further nurtured through university productions.
- She taught English to secondary school students upon graduating from UPM and has experience teaching teacher trainees at the Faculty of Educational Studies, UPM. Her field of interest is in the teaching of literature in ESL contexts.
