  • “One of my favourite quotes by an English actor Jack Bowman says, ‘All good performance pieces have some philosophical validity’. Teaching is performance. If our students get totally engaged, motivated and show remarkable progress, it probably means there was something valid in our teaching. I’ve been exploring what this philosophical validity could mean through my research into the role of the brain in language acquisition, materials development and teacher development. My teaching and publications are often inspired by dancing, yoga, and appreciating art.”
