    Paper proposals/abstracts

    ICELT invites proposals (abstracts, 150 words, with 60 word biodata ) for the following:

    Classroom application presentations:

    • Papers: 30 minute presentation
    • Workshops: 60 minute presentations

    Research presentations:

    • Papers: 15 minutes


    • 60 minute presentations
    • Absentee presentations are also allowed.
    • Minimum size of poster must be 60cm X 60 cm. Posters cannot exceed 80cm X 80cm


    • Deadline for proposals (abstracts): : 10 September 2013
    • Date of notification of acceptance: 17 September 2013

    ICELT allows absentee presentations. The conditions are:

    • The presenter has to send in PowerPoint slides to
    • Absentee presenters can send their FULL papers in for publication in IJALEL (
    • Publication deadlines have to be met
    • Registration fees have to be received before 30 September 2013

    Certificates of participation will be posted to absentee presenters 2 days after the conference free of charge. All absentee presenters are also eligible to compete in awards at this ICELT.

  2. Invitation to Publish

    Publication Option (1): PERTANIKA (Normal Review Process)
    PERTANIKA Journal of Social Sciences & Humanities (JSSH); an international peer-reviewed leading journal indexed in SCOPUS (Elsevier) and EBSCO. All writers need to prepare their manuscripts according to the guidelines at Presenters have to submit hard copies and soft copies (CD) of their papers at the conference secretariat on the 18th November 2013 for publication.

    Publication Option (2): IJALEL (Express Publication)
    International Journal of Applied Linguistics & English Literature; a peer-reviewed journal, established in Australia. Author will be offered 20% discount on publishing fee. Full papers must be sent by 30 Sept 2013. Papers will be published before 1st November. Authors will get their free hard copy during the ICELT conference.
